TAG HEUER CARRERA CHRONOGRAPH GMT: ALWAYS ON THE ROAD TAG Heuer presents a new version of its manufacture movement with a GMT function . A timepiece that responds to the desires of a generation that loves travel and adventure.

An emblem of the avant-garde since 1963, the year of its creation, to the brand's new line, with innovative models such as the ultra-modern Connected Modular, the TAG Heuer Carrera collection celebrates its 55th anniversary in 2018.

A fantastic opportunity for the Swiss watch brand to unveil a new chronograph equipped with a GMT function. This new model adopts the aesthetic codes and DNA of the Heuer Carrera, reprising the layout of the counters at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock from 1963.

The chronograph minutes and hours are located at 3 and 9 o'clock, while the permanent small seconds are at 6 o'clock. The date window is located at 4:30. The model is completed by the GMT function. This is the first time that TAG Heuer has added this complication to its prestigious manufacture movement.

Two variants available

The second time zone, an extremely practical feature that can be adjusted via the crown, is readable thanks to the lacquered red hand and the blue and black ceramic bezel, equipped with a 24-hour GMT scale. To ensure maximum readability, the GMT hand has been ingeniously mounted in a secondary position — between the hour and minute hands — so that it passes over the indexes and grazes the GMT scale.

The manufacture movement , visible through the skeleton dial, is housed in a sturdy 45 mm steel case, water-resistant to 100 metres. As bold as it is refined, this bold model demonstrates the heights reached by the Swiss watch brand's cutting-edge technology.
