TagHeuer pays homage to Aryton Senna

A special edition of the new TagHeuer Formula 1 pays tribute to the Brazilian racing driver who passed away in 1994. The aim is to celebrate Senna's mastery in the world of racing with a timepiece. TagHeuer pays tribute to Aryton Senna!

Aryton Senna

Ayrton Senna da Silva was a Brazilian racing driver, multiple Formula 1 world champion in 1988, 1990 and 1991. He died tragically in an accident on the track in 1994, during the San Marino Grand Prix in Imola.
Nicknamed Magic, he is still considered one of the greatest, most talented and influential drivers of all time, a representative and iconic figure in world motor racing.

He is also remembered for his generous spirit, which often pushed him to dedicate himself to charity, especially towards his country of origin. After his death, his sister Viviane created the Senna Foundation, a private organization that wants to give a chance to those who have never had one in life.
TagHeuer, always at the side of racing cars, has chosen to dedicate a chronograph to this Formula 1 icon, with a design inspired by the spirit of the driver.

The colors

This TAG Heuer Formula 1 features yellow and black, a tribute to Senna’s colours on the track. The ceramic bezel features a special tachometric scale that adds a touch of modernity, also celebrating the brand’s partnership with the Senna Foundation.

On the track
The calfskin strap has a black interior with yellow stitching, in true Senna style. The embossing of the "S" motif is wonderful and exclusive. The steel buckle has a double safety locking system, to make the chronograph ideal and comfortable even over a racing suit.
