Baselworld 2018 | TAG HEUER CARRERA CHRONOGRAPH TOURBILLON CHRONOMETER
The new contemporary model features two of the most fascinating complications in traditional watchmaking: a magnificent tourbillon and a chronograph produced and developed in-house by TAG Heuer, certified “Tête de Vipère”.
The movement is housed in a dark blue ceramic case, adorned with a ceramic bezel and lugs. The enchanting shade also adorns the movement's weight and barrels. Testifying to the quality of Swiss watchmaking, the finishes are polished, satin-brushed and micro-blasted, for an elegant and modern result. Visible through the sapphire crystal on the caseback, the viper's head branding is stamped on the bridge.
In addition to the quality and precision of the timepiece, it attests to the technical standard of a savoir-faire that borders on perfection. To obtain this certificate of excellence, each watch was subjected to a 16-day test protocol, in five positions and at three different temperatures, to verify the quality of both the structure and the movement.
Sporty and bold like the collection from which it takes its name, the model is accompanied by a black alligator leather strap sewn onto rubber with stitching.
A symbol of high performance and high-quality craftsmanship, the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Chronometer certified “Tête de Vipère” Bleu Nuit (dark blue) once again embodies all of TAG Heuer's excellence and the brand's avant-garde spirit since 1860.
