Created in 1904, the Santos watch is based on the concept of form: a taste for the essential, the rigor of proportions and the search for details.

This is the first wristwatch by Cartier, created in honor of the Brazilian aviator Santos-Dumont . The pilot's request was one and very simple: to be able to read the time even in flight. Before, this was impossible, because there were practically only pocket watch models , which were difficult to consult while piloting an airplane.
