Breve guida per indossare l'anello di fidanzamento

A Short Guide to Wearing an Engagement Ring

The long-awaited moment has finally arrived: you've received the fateful proposal! And, as an unmissable bonus, along with your "yes" came a beautiful ring, one of those that you would always want to show off to everyone you meet. Well, have you ever wondered what the main precautions to take when wearing an engagement ring are?

Let's discover them together, in this short guide to wearing the engagement ring

The right finger

It is well known: the engagement ring is not placed on the thumb, nor on the middle finger, but on the ring finger of the left hand. There are no excuses, nor exceptions.

Why the ring finger?

The name says it, from a certain point of view. Yet, many do not know that there is a legend about it, which makes the ring finger the ideal finger for the jewels we care about most. It is said that through the ring finger of the left hand passes a small artery directly connected to our heart.

And faith?

Etiquette dictates that, during the wedding, it is best to show up with your hands free of any other jewelry. The focus should be exclusively on the wedding ring. At most, you can temporarily move the engagement ring to the ring finger of the right hand. However, nothing prevents you from wearing the engagement ring again after our special day.

The only precaution: the wedding ring should always be worn first , closest to the palm of the hand. Together, matched, the engagement ring, for a refined elegance that always reminds us of our "yes".
